We started working with RAD Tech Telecom, a communications and technology VAR (value-added reseller), in August 2016. Richard Dictor, the company founder, wanted to produce a brochure explaining the possibilities of cloud computing, internet-based communications and unified solutions that could transform the modern office. After collaborating on ideas and concepts, we agreed that his company would be better served with two marketing efforts, a telecom brochure (shown) and a technology brochure, both cut from an unusual size sheet of paper, to produce a strong impression for his prospective clients.
The challenge for us was to find a way to describe a dozen technological concepts, in detail, within a small physical space. Unlike a web site, readers couldn’t click to get more information, yet RAD needed to hit all of their marketing points for the brochure to be successful. We sourced images based on the client’s ideas and examples, and edited supplied text and logo images. The final produced piece was 5.25″ x 8.25″ half-folded in full color.
Several graphics in the brochure were created specifically for the project, including the composite image, right.
The client approved the artwork proofs on a Friday and had printed pieces ready for a conference the next week. He was very pleased, and when he did a presentation for a local networking group he made a point of showing the final piece and our collaboration as an example of his marketing efforts.
